A woman's only human Yes, you should understand She's not just a plaything She's flesh and blood just like her man If you want a do-right-all-day woman You've got to be a do-right-all-night man -Aretha Franklin

Its year THREE for my annual (apparently) event, Cliterally the Best Pleasure Hunt Ever.

More explanation of the event and its origins can be found here: The Hunt

The facebook invite to the 9/8/18 event if you would like to participate in real time or just pop in to witness is here: Cliterally the Best Pleasure Hunt Ever (invite/event)

This year I chose the color PURPLE for our clitoris ambassadors. The color represents many things to many people but here are my associations:

Purple represents a bruise. Purple brings an awareness to the current and historical violence perpetrated and perpetuated by a patriarchal system (say that ten times fast) that serves no one (I mean it benefits some but in a really fucked up and unsustainable way). Purple sends my heart out to victims of domestic violence, sexual violence, human trafficking, relationship violence, stalking, honor killings, genital disfigurement, and emotional abuse/shaming/isolation/suppression… #niunamenos

27 Powerful Images Of Women Protesting Against Femicide In Latin America“The one death that we want is that of patriarchy.” (trigger warning for depictions of violence)

What It’s Like To Be An Abortion Doula: One organization works toward filling these gaps in the doula care model by offering free support from “full-spectrum” doulas, meaning doulas who care for pregnant people regardless of the pregnancy outcome.

Purple represents royalty. And I’m not talking about royalty in the commercial sense, although abundance does play its part.
I’m talking about wielding our power for good.
I’m talking about a mindset, a consideration of “what if I was bigger than this?”.
I’m talking about evolving beyond the short-sighted, the petty, the stunted and really moving INTO our power- queens and kings and everyone in between.
I’m talking about embodying this goddess-like perspective.
Much like this year’s patron saint of clitorises (deemed so by me in my own mind),
Queen Aretha Franklin.

Please consider donating to the charity of your choice that aligns with the PURPLE associations I identified above. And if you would like to support next year’s Cliterally the Best Pleasure Hunt Ever, please contribute to the paypal button below this post.

I wish you all happy hunting. xo
