find it * keep it * know it * share it *

It’s that time of year again.
A slight chill in the air, the last licks of summer…
And clitorises.

This is YEAR FOUR of Cliterally the Best Pleasure Hunt Ever to celebrate World Goddess Day 2019

Below are some link to past writings concerning both of these things:
Again!Again!
The Hunt
World Goddess Day

This is always a powerful time of year for me, and this year is no exception. I am standing strong in creation and also taking on a new guise of library (Goddess) which has been such a dynamic and exciting amalgam. I feel like I scraped the surface and flaked off a piece to find that- what?! I have real hardwood floors under there!! Omg, lets keep digging, revealing, and polishing… and you too! Please, I enjoy company.

And speaking about digging, revealing, and polishing- how ‘bout those clitorises?

I share with you, this year’s associations:

This year’s 3D prints are courtesy of….. ME. US. Our home.
Our prints were lovingly brought to fruition right here, in our west hill home, on our own 3D printer. We’ve passed them as they hummed in process, witnessed them come to be, and carefully removed their excess. Locally sourced clitorises are the goddamned best, hands down.

I got to choose our filaments’ source, construction, and color. This year is Emerald Mint. I was immediately drawn to the images of jewels and scents and herbs that this brought to mind. I love how strong it looks- strong AND of the earth. One need not disappear to be of the earth, to be one with nature. I think there is often a drab staid-ness that can take over when we talk about our natural states and world around us, a kind of self-righteous conservatism. But nature is anything BUT staid, and our natural world deserves our loud flamboyance, our art, our activism. This year’s color is in honor of our plant allies and the root connections of our divine feminine which we will need to dig-reveal-polish to meet the challenges of planet-wide climate change. The world’s lungs are on fire, are yours?

This year’s patron saint of clitorises is Goddess Toni Morrison. There is something about her words, her being, her writing that… its like, her material is so solid on one hand, so real and succinct, like the wisest of aunties but also it has this ephemeral quality, like it trails off in many directions, I feel it rise from my brow and I just nod like YES YES YES. I will share some Morrison Quotes here because, well, how could I not.

“If you surrendered to the air, you could ride it.”

“Don’t tell us what to believe, what to fear. Show us belief’s wide skirt and the stitch that unravels fear’s caul.”

“As you enter positions of trust and power, dream a little before you think.”

Thank you for reading and participating, happy World Goddess Day and enjoy the hunt. If you feel moved (or able) please contribute to the PayPal link below to support this (and other events).
